Sometimes you just want an inexpensive little dress to wear for the summer and while I usually invest in high quality pieces, I really am a fan of mixing high and low. As a savvy shopper who doesn’t have a ton of options in stores, I’ve always perused Old Navy for great styles at the perfect price point as well as a range of sizes that actually fit me. In fact they even carry up to an XXL in their stores which means you can normally walk in, try it on and take your item(s) home aka no waiting a week for shipping! When I saw this striped (yes those are horizontal stripes and yes, you can wear them!) I knew it was going home with me and at at 30% off it was even a steal by Old Navy standards. I opted to pull this outfit together with my denim jacket from Torrid, Sam Edelman Wedges, Rebecca Minkoff Bag, and jewelry from Asos, Banana Republic and Danielle Gibson Designs. The dress is sold out online but may be available in local stores – I’ve selected a few similar items below!
So pretty, the dress is perfect for summer! I love Old Navy, they have the best sales. 🙂

Yes they really do! I’ve found some great wardrobe staples at Old Navy!
Thank you Gini – I try!! Glad you like it xoxo
I love stripes! And I love this dress with the denim jacket and the coral bag. Really cute outfit! I wish Old Navy carried their plus line in stores…
Thank you Melinda! I wish they did too…some of the XXL items are pretty generous though!
That dress fits amazingly! I’m in love with old navy dresses this season, but for some reason that dress didn’t fit me right. I love stripes so that was a bummer.
Hello,

This is adorable! The pop of color is perfect. I agree that when you just want something fun, Old Navy is a good bet.
Thank you Molly! Yes and I love classic color combos because you can definitely make them look ” more expensive” with the right accessories.
