Travel: NYC Adventures
I was recently in NYC for a work related event and was lucky enough to have a few extra days to wander around the city. Since I have already visited most of the art museums on recent trips, I decided it was time for some shopping. Some highlights included the Vince Camuto Store Opening and my regulars; Bloomingdales, Century 21, Macy’s and Lane Bryant Flagship Store in Herald Square.
A noteworthy gem is a new boutique for my curvy fashionistas in the Lower Eastside Neighborhood called Curvaceous K. Super cute and a friendly place to shop, the owner is very passionate about what she does. They offer a wide range of brands and price points for discerning curvy fashionistas! Definitely a must visit on your next trip to NYC.
Of course all this running around made me hungry and there are a plethora of foodie options in NYC. I met up with my friend Erin, co-owner of BluePrint Proposals, for dinner in the West Village at Barraca where we sipped on Sangria and ate Paella. Since no trip to NYC is complete for me without visiting Rice to Riches we headed there next for some coconut rice pudding.
My final day in the city was filled with work related activities held at the gorgeous Crosby Street Hotel which even included a Julienne Moore sighting 😉 I love this city and all that it has to offer. Can’t wait for my next visit.
