Instead of envisioning hours slogging on a treadmill, source a class that you might enjoy, such as body pump, yoga, or pilates. You could join a club such as tennis, basketball, or running, or perhaps you can go cycling alone or with friends. Focusing on your physical health will also help your mental health to improve and you’ll soon look and feel stronger and much happier.
Make time for those you love
We can all get lost in the busy-ness of everyday life, but it’s important to make time for those you love. Whether it’s a facetime call with your Mum, a coffee with your sister, or meeting up with your best friend, carving out the time to spend with them can make you feel much happier. Try and set up a regular meeting whether this is every week or month and ensure you catch up online or in person.
