Just when you thought you’d made it through the Holiday season safely and resumed your normal routines, February creeps up and before you know it – Valentine’s Day. I get it, people have mixed feelings about this day including myself! I don’t know about you but regardless of the day, or whether you are attached, unattached, love or hate this day, I always want something great to wear. So when Gwynnie Bee asked me to style a few looks for their Valentine’s Day look book, I decided I would select pieces that weren’t RED! I was instantly drawn to this ABS by Allen Schwartz Dress for a night out with the girls or for one of my upcoming events. You’ve probably heard me rave about Gwynnie Bee before in past posts but they really are a fun addition to my wardrobe. The fact that I can wear, return, try new pieces and not have to do laundry are really some of the huge reasons I keep coming back for more!
Now, can we talk about ABS dresses for a minute? I’ve been a fan for a long time and if you are looking for a great dress to wear out for an event or even date night, you can’t go wrong. You may have seen them at Saks Fifth Ave or Lane Bryant and Gwynnie Bee even keeps a few pieces in rotation. They are a sexy, classy, stylish contemporary brand that get’s it. They carry a wide array of styles for 14 and up and their dresses are not “watered down” for plus sizes. I recently wore an ABS dress to a red carpet event and felt so glamorous! More on that later but keep an eye on this brand, they’ve got some exciting things coming.

Thank you!
Agree with going for colors other than red for V-day. If it looks good, why not? And love ABS dresses too!
