Nestled against the spectacular San Jacinto Mountains in the heart of Palm Springs, Casa Cody is the oldest operating hotel in town, founded in the 1920s. This historic property offers a timeless retreat, combining vintage charm with modern amenities. It’s one of my absolute favorite places to stay in Palm Springs that I always keep returning to. Here are just a few of the many reasons why!

A Pet-Friendly Paradise
For all my animal loving friends, Casa Cody is a pet-friendly hotel, making it the perfect destination for a getaway with your furry friend.
A Paradise of Palm Trees and Pools
Casa Cody is a haven of tranquility, boasting two inviting swimming pools surrounded by lush greenery. The property is adorned with vibrant bougainvillea, adding a touch of tropical elegance. And for a truly authentic experience, you can even pick fresh citrus fruits right from the trees on the property.

Unwind in Style
Don’t skip a visit to Harriet’s Bar & Lounge. This stylish bar, located within Casa Cody’s lobby, offers a curated selection of cocktails, wines, and beers, along with a delicious menu perfect for any time of day. You can even order your favorites delivered poolside!

To truly unwind, Casa Cody offers a variety of wellness options:
- Yoga: Daily yoga classes via the Alo app are available to help you center yourself and rejuvenate your body and mind.
- On-site Massages: Pamper yourself with a relaxing massage in the comfort of your room.
- Biking: Explore the picturesque streets of Palm Springs on a complimentary bike rental.

Winter’s House: A Classic Palm Springs Retreat
For those of you looking for a different type of experience, I highly recommend booking one of the cottages. We stayed in Winter’s House and it was everything and more we could have asked for. A classic California ranch house, Winter’s House was designed in the 1930s by Rose Bowl architect Myron Hunt and has quite the history behind it, from housing officers in training for WWII to a private residence and a home away from home for Palm Springs vacationers.

Tucked away on Casa Cody’s North Lawn, begin each day in the four-poster King-size bed, then allow yourself to roam beyond the house’s limits or through its complete kitchen, covered patio, and private indoor and outdoor dining areas. Take a dip in the outdoor soaking tub, and for winter months in Winter’s House, enjoy lounging in the warmth of your own wood-burning fireplace. I love that Winter’s House is situated in between two Standard Studios, all of which can connect to create a multiple-bedroom Suite for larger groups!

A Memorable Girls’ Getaway
Lastly, our girls’ trip to Casa Cody was just the perfect escape. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stunning surroundings, and the best amenities makee for an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway or a fun-filled vacation with friends, Casa Cody is the ideal destination.
