Summer is in full swing! I don’t know about you, but I am all about easy, breezy options for warm weather days. It goes without saying that dresses are usually my top choice for summer attire but there are some great alternatives as well. Ahead, I have rounded up a few of my favorite pieces from the newest arrivals at Lane Bryant. From floral midi dresses to breezy summer maxi’s to cropped denim jackets, the selection ahead has enough variety to outfit any potential summer activity that may come your way.
Yellow is perfectly on trend for summer and this Floral Shirred Swing Dress is definitely a must have from the latest collection. Not only is it comfortable and true to size (wearing an 18/20) but the fabric is soft and lightweight, the perfect summer combo.
Let’s also talk about this silhouette for a minute too – the dress has a fit and flare style which looks great on all different body types. Plus you can wear it on the shoulder or off and/or layer it with a denim jacket (my fav combo).
I styled this look with matching sunnies and t-strap sandals in yellow! Style tip: switch up your look a bit here and try a white denim jacket for an even more polished look!

Next up, this lace insert maxi skirt in white. If you seek lots of comfort from your wardrobe this skirt is for you. I paired it with another hot trend for summer, a tank top in pink tie dye.
And now for my favorite piece, a cropped denim jacket. If you know me, you KNOW I love a good denim jacket. This cropped jacket cuts at the right part of the waist for some extra shape! Finish off this look with a neutral sandal like this blush textured slide and don’t forget the matching sunglasses.

Next up, what would summer be without a maxi dress or two in the rotation? This dip dye maxi dress is perfect for running around or working from home. Of course I paired it with a denim jacket in a medium wash for cooler days or nights and comfy white espadrilles! (You may recognize them from my previous post about summer work from home outfits). By the way if you are looking for a comfy pair of espadrilles, these come in three different colors and will certainly work for wide feet too. Et voila, your summer OOTD is done.

Ok so we’ve looked at some great dress and skirt options but what about swim? Cacique (part of Lane Bryant) also has some great swimwear options if you are able to get to the pool or beach! One of my favs this season is this two piece set in navy blue which is currently on major sale. The longline underwire top with built in cups and high waist drawstring swim bottom fit true to size and there is just something so classic and seasonless about the color navy.
Let’s talk about shoes real quick. If you have a hard time finding shoes that are wide enough for your feet, Lane Bryant has you covered. The T-Strap shoes come in several different colors and fit comfortably on my feet. Next up my new favorite pair of flats, the textured double slide in blush. I love a good neutral blush item and this is no exception. The soles are slightly padded too for extra comfortly. And lastly, my summer go to, the white espadrille wedge sandal. If you are looking for a slight wedge in an espadrille style then this sandal is for you. It’s comfortable and true to size.
