In part one of my Fall Style Series with Maurices, I’ve styled one of my go to Fall trends, the peasant top. Want to know more – head to Maurice’s blog to see the rest of my post!
When it comes to exploring my city, I’ll admit I’m kind of a creature of habit (read between the lines: I rarely leave my neighborhood!) Despite living here for almost 7 years and just when it feels like I’ve seen it all, there’s always some new restaurant, shop or hot spot that pops up. That being said when my friend Tanja recently invited me to go with her to go to Urbanic Paperstore in Venice, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to get outside my bubble! The weather near the beach can be a few degrees cooler in the afternoon, so I wanted to wear something comfortable but chic as I knew we would be walking around the cute little boho neighborhood of Abbot Kinney in Venice.
After hitting up the paperstore, we decided to explore the shops, grab a bite to eat and of course no trip to Venice is complete without a trip to the canals!
As we transition to Fall with 70’s inspired trends still going strong, the peasant top is an essential for every wardrobe. The billowy fabric with cold shoulder made this an easy choice for me and I knew this top would be the perfect match with my skinny denim jeans and booties (tada another Fall trend!)
