It’s been sooooo hard lately with this 80 plus degree weather in LA (not that I am complaining!) to get into the mood for Fall clothes. I recently walked in the Macy’s Emme Runway Show and Supermodel Emme convinced me to try a poncho look for Fall (You can also catch me in San Francisco Oct 24th strutting my stuff there too!) At first I was a little hesitant because I hate oversized pieces that hide my shape. Needless to say, I kinda fell in love with this poncho and skinny jean combo for a quick and easy look that I will most likely wear when I visit family in Seattle since Los Angeles refuses to participate in Fall weather at the moment. I kept this look simple with a white tee, denim, slouchy boots and distressed leather bag for a more casual look. This combo actually works for me because this poncho has a nice drape and any time I wear something oversized I always offset it with something fitted (in this case its skinny jeans tucked into my boots). I love this look! It show the comfort of fall clothing at its best (with style). Something about a knitted poncho with jeans and boots that makes me think of bon fires, smores, and sunrise with a good cup of coffee.
